Photoshop Image Editing
In the Multimedia course, a six-week unit in Photoshop taught students the basics of digital image editing. These are the 'before' and 'after' pictures from the students. They loved this unit! I encouraged them to use their own photographs so they could practice exactly what they would want to do to their photos in the future.
Prom photos bring out the best in teenage boys, but Chaz wanted that photo bomb gone.
Now, without that face, this photo is ready for the framers and the wall of family photos.
Tori and her dad were on vacation but he seemed to be showing some signs of age. She wanted to fix that.
Wow! That electronic plastic surgery was amazing and painless. Her dad was impressed.
Using text paths to wrap text around an image, Ferras took his favorite activity, break dancing, and made a visually striking poster.
The culminating project of an eight week unit was the creation of these videos. Students were required to storyboard and plan out their filming, recruit actors to work for free, shoot, edit, and produce a three- to five-minute video. Three student creations show the breadth of skills developed.
